Born in 1985, in Minot, North Dakota, I learned from a very young age that I was obsessed with creating things.  From writing short stories, to building elaborate sets with Lego.  I spent considerable time making home-made board games to help exercise the need to create new and enticing content.  And this would only further my desire to craft things that were meant to engage others.

Having felt that I grew out of my home town, and that if I ever wanted to pursue a career in Film, I had to leave my roots behind.  With $200 in my pocket, and 2 suitcases, I moved down to Tampa, Florida.  Finding the first job I could, I started working towards getting a college education, and taking my first real steps towards becoming a  Filmmaker.

After obtaining a BFA in Digital Film, with Magna Cum Laude, I was ready to enter the workfroce.  This is when I started building my portfolio, and really beginning to mold my identity as a Filmmaker.  Working closely with the folks over at Team Dynamite, I began to develop my own style, and start making my projects my own.

In 2014 I had the great opportunity to start my own company, The Luma Factory, with co-owners David Coone, and Steve Allen.  It was with this company that my knowledge and experience would explode.  Completing production of two feature films, and multiple small clients.  Unfortunately, due to diverging interests, the company dissolved, and we all went our separate ways in 2016

And now, I’m continuing my journey to become a better filmmaker than I was yesterday.  Always looking to take on new projects, both professional, and personal alike.  With a goal to try something new, exciting, and test my abilities to grow.
